Prism of Scrutiny is an interactive canvas that visualizes public interest in notable figures. Each profile is a "Prism of Scrutiny" (P.O.S.).
You can add a person by submitting their Wikipedia URL.
We require Wikipedia pages to ensure that everyone on the canvas is a public figure. This keeps the project focused on public discourse, not private individuals.
"Focus" makes a person's image larger, showing they are under more public scrutiny. "Diffuse" makes the image smaller, reducing the public focus.
The fees cover our operating costs and help discourage misuse of the platform.
Welcome to Prism of Scrutiny (P.O.S.), a project that visualizes public attention.
Think of this site as a living map of public interest. Users decide which public figures to feature. A larger image means that figure is under greater public scrutiny.
We use Wikipedia to ensure that all subjects are public figures. Your contributions change the size of each profile, creating a dynamic reflection of collective focus.
Disclaimer: This is an experimental data visualization project. The size of a profile reflects user contributions and is not a statement or judgment from the site owners. All information is based on public Wikipedia pages.
